AbstractOver the past half a century, there has been tremendous progress in both destruction devices and materials and devices that provide protection against them. Of course, as a consequence, the wars and methods have changed a lot. In this article, I analyze and systematize the structures used to protect the personnel previously employed in the Hungarian Defense Forces in order to draw conclusions on their further applicability and possibilities for modernization.
