Die Werbeagentur mit Sitz in Hamburg und Hannover verantwortet u. a. die Impulspost der Evangelischen Kirche in Hessen und Nassau, in der die Kirche neue Wege zur Ansprache ihrer Mitglieder geht. Emilia Handke, Leiterin der Einrichtung „Kirche im Dialog“ der Nordkirche, sprach mit ihr in Hamburg über die Marketingher- ausforderungen der Kirche, nicht zuletzt im Blick auf die Kasualien. Handke: Wer auf dem Markt ist, muss wissen, was die eigene Marke ist. Was ist für Sie die Marke der Kirche? Jung: Also zunächst ist es mir wichtig zu betonen, dass Kirche definitiv eine Marke ist und zwar eine wahnsinnig starke, bedeutende und bekannte Marke. Viele Menschen wollen das nämlich erst mal gar nicht glauben. Aber auch NGOs sind Marken. Und weil sie eine Marke ist, hat Kirche auch eine große Verantwortung. Allerdings nimmt sie ihre Kommunikati- onsverantwortung bzw. ihre Marketingverantwortung meines Erachtens Null-Komma-Null wahr. Es ist die Hauptaufgabe der Kirche zu kommunizieren.
