From a bilateral or multilateral point of view, the journal primarily focuses on economic and trade relations, as well as political studies, cultural exchange and international relations. The extent of research goes from historical studies and studies on current situation to future vision, aiming to encourage exchange and cooperation between China and Spanish-Portuguese-speaking countries in an effective way, and to contribute to the idea of “a community with shared future for mankind”. The journal Sino-Iberoamerican Interaction is by far the only academic journal which is published in Spanish and Portuguese and is dedicated to research on interactive relations between China, Iberia and Latin America.
