On the Dating of one Group of Chian Amphoras (Based on Finds from the Pichvnari Greek Necropolis... <jats:sec><jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>On the basis of the evidence of the Pichvnari Greek Necropolis of the 5th century BC, the present publication offers a new dating of the late period Chian amphoras with swollen necks. It is obvious that the manufacture of this kind of amphoras ceased in the mid-5th century BC. <jats:sec><jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>On the basis of the evidence of the Pichvnari Greek Necropolis of the 5th century BC, the present publication offers a new dating of the late period Chian amphoras with swollen necks.
