His thesis entitled Th e Metaphysics and Epistemology of Meaning was published in 2007 by ontos. His areas of specialisation are the philosophy of language and action theory. In 2008-09 he was visiting postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature (CSMN) at the University of Oslo. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher and teaching assistant in the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Bern. Georg Kjøll is a PhD Fellow at the University of Oslo. He is supervised by Professors Deirdre Wilson and Jan Terje Faarlund, and his main research inter- ests are in pragmatics, philosophy of linguistics and philosophy of mind. He is due to submit his thesis on the mental and linguistic representation of abstract objects in November 2010. He graduated with an MA in Pragmatics from University College London in 2007 and a BA in Language Studies from the University of Oslo in 2006.
