It includes a short account of So fi a Berezanska’s life and a list of her works. Her role in Polish archaeology is the subject of an article by Ya. Gurba, who notes that So fi a Berezanska was awarded the Amicis Universitatis medal for her achievements in the study of Bronze Age monuments and for her services rendered to Marie Sklodowska-Curie University in Lublin. The academic career of S. S. Berezanska is also the subject of the article by S. N. Lyashko. V. K. Pyasetskii’s article treats the relationship between the geo-morphological classi fi cation of Pleistocene periods devised by M. F. Veklich and archaeo- logical periods. A. A.
