Abstract
<jats:sec><jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>The article deals with reinterpretation of the cylinder seal edited by E. Porada in 1962. The author proposes another division of the composition depicted on the seal and understands it as a meeting of two goddesses which probably symbolized a union of two ethnical elements composing Elamite political entity. The presence of an eagle and a man in the composition seems to be of marginal importance. The author also attracts attention to a terracotta plaque from Susa and an impression of a cylinder seal (AO 30.000) with images of feminine figures which apparently represent Elamite queens of the first half of the 2nd millennium B.C.</jats:p> </jats:sec>
