Tokhtas’ev * Abstract A lead plate currently in the private collection of the late S.N. Platonov in Kiev; on the basis of prosopographical analysis it was probably found in Olbia. Keywords North Pontic region, Olbia, lead plate, inscription, curse Th e inscription published here belongs to the late Kiev collector, S.N. Pla- tonov, who thanks to the kind mediation of A.Yu. Vinogradov, made it avail- able to me for publication purposes. Unfortunately there is no information available regarding either the origin of the metal plate or the time it was found. It is clear, however, that it was found within the territory of one of the Greek cities of the North Pontic region. Th e plate and the letters were measured de visu by A.Yu. Vinogradov in Kiev. A photograph of the plate was sent to me by S.N. Platonov by e-mail. Th e lead plate had been folded in four. I do not know by whom the plate was unfolded and the text restored.
