Editorial Message from the Editors AUGUSTIN CHAINTREAU, Columbia University LEANA GOLUBCHIK, University of Southern California ZHI-LI ZHANG, University of Minnesota Editors-in-chief and Guest Editors for the inaugural issue of ACM POMACS Welcome to this inaugural issue of the new journal, Proceedings of the ACM Series on Measurements and Analysis of Computing Systems (POMACS). As a new type of journal, POMACS is among the first three joining the recently launched Proceedings of the ACM (PACM) series. The goal of the PACM series is to showcase the highest quality research conducted in diverse areas of computer science as represented by the ACM Special Interest Groups (SIGs). ACM POMACS operates in a close collaboration with the Special Interest Group for the computer systems performance evaluation community (SIGMETRICS). We also invite you to explore other journals in the PACM series corresponding to our sister SIGs. POMACS is published quarterly, with each issue containing papers selected by the Technical Program Committees of the annual ACM SIGMETRICS conference, the members of which also serve as Associate Editors of POMACS for the same year.
