Corrigendum A correction is needed for a typographical error that appeared in Eq. (2) of Brandes et al. (2002). In section 2, p. 678, Eq. (2) for drop axis ratios should read where D is in millimeters. Unfortunately, this error was then repeated in Brandes et al. (2003, p. 655), Brandes et al. [2004a, Eq. (3), p. 462], Brandes et al. [2004b, Eq. (21), p. 587], and Vivekanandan et al. [2004, Eq. (18), p. 225]. This correction does not change the results presented in the papers. The correct relation is plotted as the “experimental fit” in Fig. 2 of Brandes et al.
