Little to serve as Physician-in-Chief for the Children's Hospital Division of the Department; Dr. William Curtis Adams as Pediatric Service Director for the Louisville General Hospital Division; Dr. Mary O. Cruise as Director of the Longitudinal Growth Study. Dr. Little is an Associate Professor in the Department; Dr. Adams, Dr. Cruise, and Dr. Falkner are Assistant Professors in the Department.Death of Dr. John E. Gonce Jr.—Dr. John E. Gonce Jr., Professor of Pediatrics and Chairman of the Department at the University of Wisconsin Medical School since 1924, died suddenly of coronary thrombosis on March 25. He was 62 years of age.
